It took me approximately 10 hours or more, even with a reliable Wi-Fi connection.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>sudo reboot now<\/li>\n<li><code>sudo apt install bluetooth pi-bluetooth bluez blueman<\/code>\n<ul>\n<li><code> (note you will need to answer with a Y)<\/code><code><\/code><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Pair device:\n<ul>\n<li><code>sudo bluetoothctl<\/code>\n<ul>\n<li>Open bluetoothctl with the above command<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>You will need to have yourt Aranet4 close by.<\/li>\n<li>Scan devices:\u00a0<code>scan on<\/code><\/li>\n<li>When founded your device, stop scan: type: <code>scan off<\/code><\/li>\n<li>Pair device:\u00a0<code>pair &lt;DEVICE_ADDRESS&gt;<\/code>\n<ul>\n<li>This will ask for a number off the Aranet4<\/li>\n<li>after successfully paired run info &lt;device address&gt;\n<ul>\n<li><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-345\" src=\"https:\/\/www.larry4u.com\/co2diy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Screenshot-2021-01-22-124842-300x152.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"369\" height=\"187\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.larry4u.com\/co2diy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Screenshot-2021-01-22-124842-300x152.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.larry4u.com\/co2diy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Screenshot-2021-01-22-124842.jpg 718w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 369px) 100vw, 369px\" \/><\/li>\n<li>be sure Paired is yes and Trusted yes\n<ul>\n<li>If trusted no run trust &lt;device address&gt;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Trusted yes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Exit from bluetooth ctl:\u00a0<code>exit<\/code><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><\/li>\n<li>if running gets a time out error do the follwing<\/li>\n<li>run this on theis line command:<\/li>\n<li>sudo systemctl restart bluetooth<\/li>\n<li>if you get this error &#8220;Failed to start discovery: org.bluez.Error.NotReady&#8221; run &#8220;rfkill unblock all&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.larry4u.com\/co2diy.com\/how-to-plot-data\/\">NEXT<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Now the fun begins We will start by instlling the Aranet4 Software: We will use https:\/\/pypi.org\/project\/aranet4\/ this as a reference.
