{"id":480,"date":"2021-02-11T15:09:33","date_gmt":"2021-02-11T15:09:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.larry4u.com\/co2diy.com\/?page_id=480"},"modified":"2023-09-28T14:02:28","modified_gmt":"2023-09-28T14:02:28","slug":"run-environment-for-aranet4","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.larry4u.com\/co2diy.com\/run-environment-for-aranet4\/","title":{"rendered":"Run environment for Aranet4"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Set up the run environment\/<\/h3>\n<p>This page is being updated<\/p>\n<h3>Lets start getting and storing data<\/h3>\n<p>you will need the following programs<\/p>\n<p>On the terminal type the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;cd ~&#8221; this will take you to your home directory \/home\/aranet<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;wget https:\/\/larry4u.com\/data\/getAranetData.py&#8221; data collection software&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;wget https:\/\/larry4u.com\/data\/coPng.py&#8221;\u00a0 Ploting data software&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;wget https:\/\/larry4u.com\/data\/clean_data_folder.py&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;mkdir data_folder&#8221;\u00a0 folder for data collection&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Lets test to see if it works<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">You will need the devise MAC address<\/p>\n<pre>Here is how to find the MAC address:\r\ndo the following commands:\r\nbluetoothctl\r\npaired-devices\r\nexit\r\njust do a copy of the address and past into the end of the aranetctl command.<\/pre>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Run the following python command. &#8220;python getAranetData.py\u00a0 usage (xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx )&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">&#8221; if no errors we must have done somthing right.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">now let us see if we have data.\u00a0 On the file listing page do a refresh and click on &#8220;data_folder&#8221; and see if the file exists. If yes good so fare. Now see if it has data by right cliking on it and select edit. If you have Microsoft excel you can just duble click on it to open it into excel. note that the tempiture is in Celsius.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">If all is well let us contue:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">We now need to just collect data so we can start ploting it.
